Turning a Dream into Reality

Britt’s love for horses has been a lifelong passion. She began riding at just eight years old with the Fredericton Pony Club, and that early spark quickly grew into a deep commitment to the equestrian world. Determined to build a career around the animals and sport she loved, Britt pursued a Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management with a major in Equine Management from the University of Guelph—one of Canada’s leading programs for equine science and industry training.

Backed by extensive education and hands-on experience, Britt holds her Equestrian Canada English Rider Level 6 with Jump as well as her Equestrian Canada Instructor certification, reflecting her strong technical foundation and dedication to professional coaching standards. After completing her studies, she returned to the Maritimes and founded Elite Equestrian as a coaching and training business rooted in quality, empathy, and accessible horsemanship. In 2017, she moved to Harvey and established the farm that has since become the heart of Elite Equestrian.

What sets Elite apart is its mission: to bridge the gap in the industry and make riding safe, accessible, and affordable for everyone. Britt believes riding shouldn’t be reserved for the elite—at Elite Equestrian, we create elite riders.

Through nationally certified coaches, structured Equestrian Canada–aligned programs, and a supportive learning environment, riders of all backgrounds and experience levels are given the opportunity to grow, succeed, and fall in love with the sport.

Today, Elite has expanded into a dynamic centre offering:

• Affordable, safe riding lessons for all ages and experience levels

• Year-round trail rides through our beautiful Harvey property

• Summer camps designed to inspire confidence, responsibility, and fun

• Training programs for riders and horses, built on evidence-based methods

Elite is home to 15 horses of various ages, breeds, and backgrounds—including several who were rehabilitated and given a second chance through Britt’s dedicated training and care. The facility includes access to stunning trails, a sand ring, a grass ring, stadium jumps, a round pen, and a cross-country course, providing a diverse and enriching environment for learning.

To ensure the highest standard of professionalism and safety, Elite Equestrian is fully licensed and insured, giving riders and families peace of mind every time they step onto the farm.
