Meet Corey
Corey was truly the heart of Elite. As Brittney’s first competitive partner—and the first horse she trained from the ground up—he played a defining role in shaping her passion for both training and coaching.
A 15.2-hand half Thoroughbred, half American Cream gelding, Corey was small but mighty, known for his bravery and grit. Together, he and Brittney competed up to Pre-Training cross-country, where he quickly proved himself to be a force to be reckoned with.
Corey lived a long, full, and exciting life, passing at the age of 26 after a battle with cancer. His legacy lives on in Elite Equestrian’s values, its riders, and in the foundation he helped Brittney build—one grounded in heart, resilience, and the bond between horse and rider.
