Goose
Goose also came from CYB and, like a few others on the farm, is an ex-bronc. Sensitive and highly responsive, Goose requires thoughtful handling and a very specific riding approach to prevent him from reverting to his broncing past. Despite this, he is an incredibly good boy—athletic, honest, and gifted with spectacular English movement. When he’s relaxed and focused, Goose loves to jump and shows impressive potential. But as with any former bronc, overstimulation can bring back old behaviors, so patience and tact are essential.
Goose first arrived at the farm in 2022 as a free lease for Brittney’s assistant coach, Dorian. Together, Dorian and Brittney began developing Goose under saddle, helping him build confidence and structure. When Dorian returned to school, Goose went back to his owners’ farm.
In August 2024, Goose officially returned to Elite—this time as a permanent member of the herd and family.
Goose is a paint gelding born 2017 with heart, talent, and a bright future ahead.
Goose also has a brand on his rump!
