Jack

Jack is the farm’s resident bad-boy pony—small in size but overflowing with attitude. Standing around 11 hands, half-blind, and full of spunk, he leapt off the trailer from Nova Scotia as a tiny fuzzball and immediately captivated every mare on the property. Confidence has never been an issue for Jack.

For his first couple of years at Elite, Jack mostly lived the good life: hanging out, doing groundwork, and tagging along on the occasional trail ride—usually only if he could follow one of his “ladies.” His real transformation began when his rider, Molly, took him under her wing. Because Jack is so small, adults can’t ride him, making it a big undertaking for a youth rider to take on his training. But with Molly’s patience and persistence, Jack finally began to flourish.

Jack is grade pony with a growing fan club—and a few impressive party tricks, we believe he was born around 2010.

Fun fact: Jack knows how to pound it (give knuckles) and even stand on a stool!
