Jasper
Jasper also came from Count Your Blessings Farm (CYB) in Ontario, arriving at Elite as an unbroke yearling in 2021. From the moment he stepped off the trailer, he showed himself to be an absolute gentleman. Even before he was backed, Brittney used Jasper in lessons to teach students how to lunge and introduced them to the fundamentals of backing a horse—proof of just how steady and trustworthy he was at such a young age.
Jasper was backed at three, then allowed plenty of time to grow, develop, and simply be a horse. This year, at four, he officially joined the lesson program full-time and has been a star ever since. Despite being the youngest horse on the farm, he is remarkably laid-back, patient, and kind—a true old soul in a young body.
Jasper is a 4-year-old, 14.1-hand Fjord cross gelding with a bright future ahead of him.

Jasper is cryptorchid and most likely has a surgery in his near future to finish “gelding” him!

Jasper was born into a herd of 100 that was specifically bred to be exported to Japan for meat.
